I am not even 30 years old, and have had to have both ovaries removed at different times due to tumors that were growing on them. Now, I am on hormone replacement (birth control), and am wondering where to go from here. I like to stay healthy and do things as naturally as possible. If it hadn't been for this problem, I never would have taken BC pills. Does anyone know of a natural method to replace the hormones I need. I do have my uterus and so I know I need progesterone, but is there a natural way to get it?

I struggle with hot flashes all the time and have begun going 2 months in between letting myself have a period, because the back and forth of having hormones and then not having them was too much for me.

Where do I go from here? Are there any other options for me?

You might want to find out more about bio identical hormones. Unlike traditional HRT where they just replace estrogen compounded HRT combines Estrogen (Or estrogens) along with Progesterone and Testosterone. This replaces all the major hormones that your missing post op.
