going through actual menopause!

I first started having hot flashes a year ago and was having periods every 2-3 months. My gynocologist started me on "Angeliq" hormone therapy and the hot flashes stopped right away. Now I have not had a period in 6 months and once or twice a week I cry uncontrollably all day. Then I have an absolutely wonderful day or two in a row. Today is a bad day. Crying all day. I have made another appointment with my doctor to re-evaluate my hormone levels. I wake up feeling okay, then start a crying jag and it lasts all day. I have no interest in anything. Can't take a shower, go to the store or get anything done during the day. Can anyone relate to this??? I feel so bad for my poor husband...he doesn't know what to do with me and he feels powerless to help me. Please tell me I am not alone with these symptoms.

It might be the form of HRT. I don't know anything about Angeliq. Is the dose adjustable? Have you told your doctor whats going on? I use a compounded form of HRT 25 days I rub it into my skin. Then off the rest of the month. It has estrogen, progesterone and even some testosterone and I feel 100x better.

Can't relate to the crying all day but boy can I swing a mood around.
