Bleeding after stopping pill
Hi everyone.
I recently stopped taking the pill after 13 yrs of being on it (I was put on it at 18 due to irregular periods). Hubby and I decided it is time to have a child. Well, after being off the pill for 1 week, I started to bleed lightly. It's bright red, some clots - when I go to the bathroom and wipe, it looks like it is heavy. However, I don't seem to need even a liner unless I go workout. I have had cramping off and on, and I assumed that this was a period although I had had my last period 14 days prior to this starting (when I was still on the pill). I am now on day 7 of light bleeding and cramping. The doctor tells me that this is just my body adjusting to the lack of hormones. Yes, I know that is probably the case but I cant help but start to get a little freaked out by this. Sound familiar to anyone?
Any advice, reassurance, etc. will be appreciated.

Its just your body trying to adjust, I know I was like that when I came off the pill for a little while to give my body a break, my periods were like 1 or 2 days of really light bleeding but it was hard for my body to adjust and now I am back on a lower dose of birth control, the reason as to why i went off of it was because it was making me a little loopy if you catch my drift.
best of luck to you.
Before you criticise someone walk a mile in their shoes and then that way if they get angry they will be a mile away and barefoot
