Hello everyone. Im new here. And my first post would have to be about a problem I am having with my period.
For a little background, about March I quit taking birth control, when I found I was getting cramps in my legs and when I went to see the gynecologist for my last pap test (last month beginning of august) she told me that was smart! I could have developed a blood clot. Which my pap came out normal.
Anyways, August 21st I had a little spotting which I was expecting my period anyways. It was a little brown/pinkish color. Then the next day there was blood but the blood only lasted for 1 day.... cause the next day I only spotted again!! Which is weird because it the 11 years I have been having a period... I usually start out light have about 3 heavy days and follow with 2 light days.....So then I went and took a pregnancy test that night and it was negative, next morning same exact thing. So afterwards, I have been having cramps in my lower pelvic region on left and right side. And I have been having really bad heartburn and severe nausea....And this has been going on for the past couple of weeks! It concerns me. Why would I be having cramps like this?
I have made an appointment to see the gyno again for next monday I couldn't get any sooner. Im just worried. Anyone else ever been through this?

    Smile irregular periods

I am going through the same thing right now. I was taking birth control for 2 1/2 years and I got off the pills on Aug. of 2007. My period was normal after but just recently I haven't gotten my period. I went to the doctor and she said that my hormones were adjusting itself with out the pills. So maybe thats why your experiencing this. It could also mean that there might be something else going on and I suggest to go see the doctor.
