Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if any one can help me. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while now.

Since Dec 2007 I have been getting my period regularly. When I visited my GP (March 2008) she had me go for blood work which told her that I have a high testosterone level...imagine that...a woman having testosterone. Apparently when you have too much estrogen it turns to testosterone...not sure if this is true. Anyway she put me on Primolut and 5 days later I got my period...yay! But I unfortunately didn't get my period the following month.

I went to a gyne in June 2008 who then said to me that I have a hormonal imbalance and she gave me medication that brought on my period and thereafter she put me on Utrogestan, Folic Acid and Glucophage. She said that once the utrogestan course is complete I will get my period in about 4 days or be pregnant if I don't get it. I took a blood test and am not pregnant so why the meds didn't help, I don't know.

I went for a follow up scan and she told me that the lining of my uterus is not thick enough so she put me on another course of utrogestan. The course is now completed and guess what I'm not pregnant nor did I get my period. Can anybody help or advise me of what to do next? Thanks.
