Thread: Spotting after sex

While my husband and I were having sex last night it was slightly uncomfortalbe for me, almost like the first time I had sex. I didn't think much of it since i figured it was just because we hadn't had sex in a couple of weeks and things were just tight. Anyway, a couple of hours later I went to the restroom adn noticed I had some blood spotting. Not a lot, but enough to be concerning. This has happened once before, but it was immediately after sex and not later adn then it just stopped adn I was fine. This afternoon I had a little bit of dark discharge, but not really anymore bleeding. I am on the pill but have not had breakthrough bleeding before now adn my period is not due for another two weeks yet. I did have a headcold this past week so maybe that is messing with my system? Any ideas?

I just wanted to add that I just had a full physical and pelvic exam done a few weeks ago and all was well.
