I am in my early 30's and my husband and I have been trying to conceive. I have always had regular cycles (28-30 days) until now. My last period was Aug 13th. When i was late, of course the first thing we thought was that i was pregnant. Well after 4 HPT and a blood test it was determined that i was NOT pregnant. Well still no period. The last couple of days however, i have been having this dark brownish discharge. I thought first that i was going to start my period but didnt. Im still just getting the brown discharge. Im very confused as i have never missed a period in my life. Now I am trying to get pregnant and my body is all off schedule. Any advice??

I'm in the same boat, except I'm not as late as you are. I'm 2 weeks late, but have had 3 negative pregnancy tests. Your doctor didn't address your period being late? There is still the possibility of pregnancy, it could be slim, but there's always a possibility. I had a friend who did not get a positive test result (blood or urine) until she was 3 months along. It's rare, but it happens! Or, you are just thinking a lot about getting pregnant, that your body is "forgetting" to have your period. I'd say if it doesn't start in a week, take another HPT. If negative again, see the doctor again and ask if he/she can give you any advice. Good luck!
