It's the injection. I can't take depo because it made me so sick. I was on my period for 5 months straight. I am not exaggerating. I went to the doctor regularly, and almost had a blood transfusion. If my hemoglobin had gotten any lower, that is. Depo is very hard to get used to, and is very harsh on some women's bodies. Just give it time to adjust. Oh, and depo absolutely killed my sex drive. If it works for you, great. Just keep an eye on your symptoms. If anything gets severe (abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, exhaustion, ect), then see a doctor.
