Exclamation Blood clots and infection

I've had several yeast infections and i recently went to see s gyno, she said she was pretty sure i had B.V. (overgrowth of bacteria) she couldnt be 100% sure because i was on my period and she couldnt do any test or look under a microscope, although she did give me a prescription. I did not get a chance to tell her about my period though, this is the first time i've been on the shot and it my first period since i started on it in August. I've been bleeding for about 9 days and i have thick clots. My past few periods have also had some clotting. Although this is very dark and there are more blood clots. I see my doctor again in one week. Is there something wrong or something I should ask my doctor about?
