for the past 4 days ive had this weird brown discharge... it's not smelly and i'm not in pain or anything. my period is due 11/11, but that's with the normal 28 day cycle and i'm never on time...ever. i kind of feel lightheaded, but otherwise have no other symptoms of pregnancy or even my period. i am extremely careful and always use protection, so i don't know what's going on. any advice??

I've had exactly the same thing - no smell, no pain, just this abnormal brown discharge. I'm not sure what it is either!!? I'm on the pill and am supposed to have a break from it for a week when i have my period each month but i didn't break between last month and this month - just kept taking the pill to avoid my period. I've also been feeling lightheaded and nauseuos a lot lately which is making me anxious and paranoid about pregnancy although i'm quite sure it can't be this - especially as my boyfriend and I use condoms towards the end of intercourse to be extra safe (and i'm on the pill as well!). I'd like to be bale to put my mind at ease as well.....!

im exactly the same but i m 4 days late and i havent been so carefull as i missed a pill . im sure you are fine it sometimes can be old blood clearing out before your next period ... keep me posted on outcome . I know if ya kept on takin the pill it can cause the discharge believe me ive been studing it at this stage ... do i test to put you at ease

did you ever get to the bottom of why that happeney you because i have had the same as you for over ten days and my period is week late

haven't found out yet. my period is late too but it's never on time. going to doctors next week.

so the dr said there's nothing to worry about and that it's totally normal. i wasn't on the pill before so she gave me that too. that's pretty much it...i just have to wait for my period now! hope this helps.

ive had this same problem. and i spoke to my doc. about after
looking down there he told me it was fine. but he said that in
some cases when brown spotting or flow happens its due to
bacteria build up. so maybe you should get this checked out.
