    HELLLP ME...

So as many of you know, I went off of my depo shot, and now...ONCE a month, for about...5 days, I have a special friend who comes and visits me...THAT is normal, but I think Im bleeding toooooo much?
I have to change my regular Tampon every 2-3 hours, and even then, its soaked...and Im kind of worried, because I also have this discharge with my period...its clear, but mixed in...kinda freaking me out. I havent had my period in like...7 years because of the Depo shot...So I've pretty much forgotten what is normal.

OH...and any remedies for cramps? They're SO bad, that even Midol isnt working....and I have to work tomorrow...

Take Ibuprofin regularly for cramps; there is an ingredient in it that prevents cramps. It doesn't work the same to wait for it to hurt: take the recommended dose every 6-8 hours once your period starts.
In the absence of the extra hormones your shot was giving you, your body is making the lining of your uterus extra-thick, and that's what controls the heaviness of your flow. I'd say that your flow is normal, and if you can fit the super tampons inside your body (I can't; it's little teenager tampons backed up by pads for me) then upgrade to those. The discharge sounds perfectly normal too; just because your period is happening doesn't mean that your body stops producing its regular discharge.
I don't know if you have tried daily BC pills, but they've really helped me with cramps and heavy flow. Ask your gyno about it.
