My period started last week Monday, and ended early on Wednesday. (Now I know that whilst on the pill every now and then you will have a short period). But then 4 days later I had a jelly-like discharge. It was just one piece, but long. I have read that women get this whilst ovulating, but isn't it too early in my cycle to be ovulating?

Why am I getting discharge like this?
