Thread: abnormally long/dark period

so i have a question, and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

for the past two weeks, i've been having my period, but it's been especially dark and brown. i looked this up, and it seemed like old blood. but it's been going on for a while, and now, finally seems to be transferring over to a normal period. i'm mildly worried about a miscarriage - my ex and i had unprotected sex (he didn't pull out) during my last period. does anyone have any ideas, or should i really go see a doctor and/or take a pregnancy test?

well i always thinl its best to see a doctor a simular thing been happing to me and i went to the hospital they gave me a prego test and it was neg but they called it abnormal bleeding you noe bleeding between periods, plus if u been on anysort of birth control it could also be that but i dont think it anytrhinhg to worrie about unless it get into a heavy period like if you have to change pads every hour than you should deff. seek attention imediatly.
