Exclamation Still showing symptoms of "something"

I have a light brown discharge all the time. I recently had my annual and she said it looked like I had a slight infection on my cervix?! She gave me Doxycycline 100 mg for a week and I finished them yesterday and my discharge was almost gone completely which was such a relief after a year of having a slightly heavy brown discharge all the time. My discharge came back this morning. I can't afford to take another day off work to go back for a checkup so my question is...could it be something else? STD?! some other problem with my cervix? I'm just really worried and nervous:confused right now.

Default

I am no doctor myself but I would say that if it started to clear up then your doctor was probably right but you might need a stronger antibiotic or just some more for a longer period of time. If I were you I would just call the doctor and tell her what is going on and she might perscribe you more antibiotics right over the phone.

Default I called the doc

Explained the situation to her and she prescribed me another round of antibiotics...10 days this time. I'll keep this updated if something else comes up. Hopefully my experience will help someone else in the near future.
