My period is due to start in two days, however, recently, I have been having some sort of brown, mucus-like discharge occurring. This happened last month before my period was supposed to start for about 5 or 6 days and then I never got my period! Now that it's started up again, it's making me a little nervous. My long-term boyfriend and I have sex fairly regularly, but I am on birth control and he ALWAYS uses a condom [I am a bit of a worry wort, I wouldn't have it any other way!!] I was so nervous about missing my period last time [although I have missed periods/have had very light periods before due to my birth control medicine before] that I took two different pregnancy tests, just in case, but both came back negative.I have an appointment with my doctor in a little over a week but I was going to see if anyone could give me any insight into what's going on exactly?
