I'm 15 years old and I have this irregular period thing. I've gotten my period twice in two years and my doctor says it's normal for heavily active girls at my age. I am in sports all the time, so i'm constantly busy. I've never had sex but recently i've been getting a weird brown discharge. I have absolutely no clue what it is and my last period was in August of 2008.
    Help?

The brown discharge may just be slow bleeding - the blood turns browninsh when it isn't fresh. Try getting some fresh ginger root, make your self a cup of tea and add a few slices of the ginger. Ginger will promote bleeding, when your period is late it can jump start it. It can take your body several years to get serious and regualar with this, in the meantime just be glad you getting the other possibility - continuous bleeding.
