i'm 17 and when i looked up the below on the internet i could only find people saying it had happened after unprotected sex and people said they might be pregnant, but i can't be as i'm a virgin so i don't know what else it could mean as when i searched this online it said it meant you were pregnant.

yesterday morning i was in the shower when i started bleeding, but when i went to change my pad later on that day there was only a little bit of blood, normally i'm really heavy when i first start and normally get quite bad period pains as well as a little sickness.

i felt more sick than normal with no pains and apart from the bit of blood that was there earlier (it looked red in the morning but when i went to change my pad it was more brown) i didn't bleed at all, i changed my pad anyway thinking it would be heavy overnight but this morning i checked and i'm still not bleeding.

is this normal?
