Thread: Nervous About Spotting

I am supposed to get my period soon since I got in on the 26th of March. Yesterday (Sunday) I had brown discharge only once after I went to the bathroom. I think last time I had my period I also had brown discharge before I got my period but I'm not positive. Saturday my boyfriend and I were grinding with no clothes but did not have sex and he did not ejaculate at all and I have not participated in other sexual activities this month besides that. I only got a little nervous because when I looked up brown discharge online it said that this can happen when there is implantation, but there was no ejaculation so that seems impossible but I'm still not sure what the brown discharge means. I have also been running a lot and recently lost weight so I am not sure if that has something to do with it. I have not had brown discharge since then. Help!

Brown discharge before your period is completely normal but it could be a sign of pregnancy also. You should take preg test just to make sure. Also- weight change can affect your cycle from what I've heard. But brown spotting before you get your period is totally normal.
