Thread: My period after sex...any advice?

So I have this thing I think is weird only because nobody I know has this problem... When my period is almost over and is very lite, I will usually have sex with my husband, unprotected of course..lol..anyway, After usually within some hours or the next day, my period doesn't end, instead becomes heavier and makes my period last longer. Is this normal?? So now if I want my period to end, I cannot have sex until there is no discharge whatsoever...and that sucks, so does anyone know about this or has experienced this?? Any kind of input would be welcome

It is all normal. That is because you bleed for about a week inside after your period is done. But since you are almost done on the outside doesn't mean that it is done on the inside. When you have intercourse with your husband, your pelvic and uterus muscles tense and make what blood and discharge is left there come out for a little while. It is quite normal. It happens to me and when you are about to start your period and you have not quite on the outside, have intercourse and it will bring it on. Good luck.
