Thread: Strange Brown Discharge

I hope I am just overreacting about nothing, but I really need some help.

I've been thinking over this a bit, and I have two causes, so hopefully you can help.

Well, just to give a bit of background. I'm 19 and I just very recently had sex for the first time.

Two days after sex I had this strange brown/red discharge. It was thick and sticky. I kind of freaked at the time and I thought it was maybe my period being... weird... haha, but it wasn't because it has stopped.

Could this have anything to do with the sex? We used a condom, but I am not on the pill, and the condom didn't rip or anything... but there is always that... scare.

The other explanation is it could be my period. I've been reading that sometimes it comes before a period? I've had something like it before, but never quite as much as what I had today. My period should be due in a few days, to a week... my period is very irregular... sometimes it can last 4 days or it is like a slow almost week and a half.

Anyways, I'd really appreciate a response, I am freaking out.

To me it sounds like your period..
Mine had always been ridiculously irregular till i got on the pill so i can understand your worrying, lol.
And maybe having sex for the first time, the "change" making it come more, if you get what I'm saying, lol.
I'm sure it's nothing.. Don't panic, wait it out for your period since you said it should be within a few days or so.
