I've been on Aygestin for 14 days now, and still have a week more to go. It was prescribed to control heavy abnormal bleeding. The heavy flow stopped after the 5th day, however, still have a very light (almost nothing of a period compared to what it was for the past 6 months) period of light pink and some times yellow. I really dont understand the yellow? Is it because of the prolonged Aygestin and all the extra hormones in my body? Should I freak out now? My dr. did say my body will go through a few things as it adjusts to the new hormones.

I read other posts and no one has been on Aygestin/ Provera this long, I noticed others were only prescribed a 5 to 7 day dose. And many claimed it didnt help and they were back to the prolonged periods. I know everyone's needs are different.
Anyone else go through this? What should I expect... Dr. said I should expect another super heavy period after I finish the 21 days. Then I start Yaz. I've been diagnosed with PCOS.
