Last time I put up a post because It had been about a year or more since the last time I had gotten my period and wanted to know how I could get it. I had asked because this has happened before and when it finally came it was an extreme flow for 3 months until I went to the gyno and he did all these tests just to say there was nothing wrong and gave me birth control. I wanted to get my period because I was scared it would happen again. Well, it looks like it did. I get it 2 weeks ago and it started off slow and all this last week has been torture. It's so much! And it's just a constant thing- sometimes it's lighter during the middle of the day but then it just goes strong again. Every time I go to the doctor they just tell me nothing is wrong and to take birth control. I'll never have kids at this point!! It never comes and I don't like taking BC because it made me grow hairs on my chin! I don't know what to do- someone told me to go on a really strict diet- would that help? Is my doctor not trying to help me here?

Growing hairs on your chin... Hormones.

Maybe your body can't take the pill..

Why are they suggesting this as the "only" method, why not give you all the options that are out there , sort of trial of various methods to see what works for you best?

If a Doctor said to me, "there's nothing wrong with you", I would say whoo hoo that's great however, now make a suggestion to allow me to be a normal woman and have normal periods.

If they can't? Go find someone who can.

It's like everything in life, if your not getting an answer continue seeking until you find one.

Go and see someone else, until someone actually helps you instead of sticking you on more pills as the solution.

Certainly, the pill is "mean't" to regulate you but in your case it's not working.
