Any suggestions, I get very crabby and cry over almost nothing. I'm 19 and have had my period since I was twelve. Is it normal to be put off by every little thing? It may have somthing to do with the fact that I just finished my super stressful finals. But I have cried like ten times in the past three days.

Im not sure what to say, I mean im awful with PMS too. I cry over anything. Infact, I cry over having a late period. Like now, my period is 4 days late and I started crying, thinking im abnormal - because it happens to me a lot.

Just try not to worry about it. Relax. (people say this to me, i just dont listen) - but seriously. relax!

i cry a lot when on my period and become annoyingly sensitive physically and emotionally. it's pretty bad most of the time and got terrible mood swings. doc has always said that it's normal for me and that all women are different. he told me, "your body has it's ways of dealing with certain things and has it's ways of letting it out when it needs too. every woman is different. what's normal for you may not be for someone else." so- for the most part- it's normal.

I use to have problems with PMS and finding myself crying over little things too. I tried various over the counter drugs but nothing seemed to work.
I don't want to say this will definitely help you out. But I did some research on this a long while back and found myself trying out an acupressure product. Its called a Anti-Menstrual Pain Band. Utilizing specific acupoints it help bring some comfort and relief. There was also a Sleep-Aid / Relaxcation Band that helped calm the nerves. I got mine at MedicMates.com but I think if you look around you can find various kinds around the net.
    Hope you feel better.

I just cry right through it mostly.I take both Klonopins and ibuprofen but I don't believe in taking drugs makes me feel better when I'm having PMS,all they do is just knock me out. Alot of times just can't help just laying in bed all day and just feeling miserable. I feel it's good to cry sometimes but it's like when you feel alone with it and crying over anything it feels like too much.
