I had a regular old 7 for years, no problems. This very well maybe the hormones in the thing, talk to your doc. Why not just get a plain one? One of the good things about an IUD is that it doesn't have to mess with your natural hormones.
possible iud problems?
hello everyone. i hope i am posting this in the right section. i got an iud put in on april 18th & i bled for 6 days after. not very heavy or anything, & i barely had any cramps. well, now i'm on my period & i've had it for TWO weeks now!!! this is driving me & my husband crazy. is this normal?! i have the paragard iud.

paragard doesn't have hormones ... it's the copper iud, which doesn't use hormones like the iud mirena does.Originally Posted by WildChild
