Three and a half month long period

OK, so I got the depo shot back in early February and it spiked my hormones (of course)...then I did not get my refill shot in late April as I had been on my period for 6 weeks by this time. By not getting my refill shot, my hormones went from way high to way low. I had been on multiple types of contraception within the past 11 months or so and wanted to give my body time to normalize and get back in control. Unfortunately, I am still on that same darn period, and I'm going on week 15 now. this is really upsetting and my gyno says there isn't really anything I can do except let it run its course. I would like to have a break in this never-ending annoyance. I understand that a period is natural and is nothing to be ashamed of...but i'm seriously tired of feeling disgusting for so long now. the cramps, headaches, nausea, bloating, constipation.....its all very annoying. I was reading other threads and there was mention of using ibprofen? does that really work? if any one has any advice, please help.

It is the same situation I am in right now.... I have had my period for 3 weeks... I have been on the PAtch EVRA for about 4 years now.... They think I have endomitriosis... and they are trying to stop my period... which isin't working. I have taken Ibprofen to help with the headaches and the rest. It worked some what for me....I am still wating too see the next step.... Good luck
