When did you last take any form of birth control? And also, when was your last Depo shot?
Birth control other then Depo can take many months to leave your system and more months for your cycle to become normal.
Depo Provera injection can take a year or more to leave your system. It says that on the label. It can then take some women an additional year or more to get pregnant. Of course, some women it only takes a month or two. Many women have had problems getting pregnant for many years after Depo. So I would be suspicious that Depo is the cause of your problems. If you think Depo may be the problem, you might want to get a hormone level test. Depo can cause progesterone deficiency which causes progesterone infertillity. Many doctors will not admit to this, but there are many many reports of it.
It all depends on when you last took what.
If it's been several years since you took anything, then it could be a hormone imbalance or some other underlying health problem. In which case, the best thing to do is see your gynecologist.
