I was on tri cyclen lo for a little over three years when i began spotting two or three days before my period. After talking to my doctor she switched me to Yasmin to try and stop the spotting, when that didnt work she switched me on Yaz. Yaz didnt stop it either. After alot of frustration, i went back on tri cyclen lo. I've been back on it for about four months now and 5 days ago i was on the last pill of the second week, so still on the active pill and i began spotting and i have been spotting since. It isn't much, but im really concerned because this has never happened to me before. I am sexually active and the majority of the time i use a condom, and when my boyfriend and i do not, i stop him because i am very uncomfortable of the fact of not using a condom.
