Default bleeding between periods

Hey Ladies, I need some advice. My history is that I had HPV about 4 yrs ago, had abnormal cells on my cervix and had them cryofreezed off. For 2 yrs I was completely normal. However these last 2 yrs I pretty much always bleed between periods. All the research Ive done has just led to cervical cancer which is terrifying but my PAP smears within the last 4 yrs are all normal. These mini periods are not painful, no cramping and I dont get any signs of PMS. And it almost seems that when I get my period later in the month its lighter. I am on the Loestrin24 birth control. No doctor has yet to explain to me why I get my periods twice a month it seems. I went to the doctor this year and my PAP smear was normal and all STD tests came back negative. Its just an annoying and embaressing thing I deal with. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

Thanks!!!
