I am a 23 year old and have had my peroids since I was 9.they have been very irregular until I took the pill about four years ago never had a break from them have always taken them-just to give you some back round. Now the reason why i am very concerned is because i've had 3 peroids within 5wks.This is the third time right now and i just feel that this isn't right at all,so if anyone at all has any idea that would be rather appericate it.

Have you been on the same pill all 4 years? This may be the reason. I was on the pill for 5 years and i had to change pills about every year and a half because of that very issue. The doctor said that my body just would get used to the hormone or react to it and cause me to have my period all the time. I would talk to your doctor about it. I actually stopped taking the pill over 2 years ago and i feel great. I started using a contraceptive free method of birth control that work wonderfuly for me. Look up symto-thermo method on the net...i can try to answer any questions you have if you would like to try it Good luck.

I agree that it may be time to try a new brand of birth control. If it's not the birth control, you may have had a natural hormone fluctuation which has caused this. Keep in mind though, that other things can cause irregular periods suh as stress or illness.
