Thread: every 1-2 weeks

For the past, maybe 5 months, I have had a consistent but not so consistent period (if thats what i should even call it)..

What will happen is... I have a period for the regular 5-7 days and then again in 1-2 weeks. One period lasted 14 days exactly but that was in June. At the beginning of ALL of this I had horrible cramps like I have never felt before. I was in terrible pain. I consulted a doctor and got bloodwork done and an ultrasound. My doctor said it sounded like a ruptured cyst. Well, unfortunately, they were having technical problems getting their test results so I had to wait about 2 weeks to get my results but the doctor said my ultrasound was clear. I'm still bleeding every 1-2 weeks, it ranges. and sometimes my cramps are really bad and sometimes my flow is very heavy and other times very light. It's only happened twice in these past months where the cramps are crazy, bad though. She talked to me about birth control but prescribed me Yaz, which I wouldn't feel comfortable taking, as I've heard bad things about it, so I've been trying to make an appointment with my doctor again but work keeps getting in the way.

Anyone have any advice, or heard anything like this, or even had something similar happen to them?
I get very upset every time I go to use the restroom and find that I am bleeding AGAIN.

I am going through something similar. I have my period every two weeks and it lasts 7-8 days. This has been going on for months, with accompanying PMS. I finally brokedown and went to my doctor today. I can't keep going on like this.
