I have never heard such a thing and I really do not think it would be true either. Then again, I am not 100% positive. A yeast infection is a surge in yeast growth which is normally present in smaller amounts in every woman. The yeast grows and spreads throughout the entire vaginal area including the outer vaginal opening. During your menstrual cycle, your body sheds it's uterus lining (which does not make up the entire vaginal area which is affected by the yeast). It might help, but I can't imagine that it would cure it. Just my opinion, but if it has worked for anyone else, I would love to know about it. It's a very good question!
