Default how has exercise affected your cycle?

I started running about 2 months ago. I was "training" to run a 5k the end of October. I only run 3 days a week for about 45 minutes with a walking/running combo. We've worked up to 1 3/4 miles. I don't feel like this is alot and that it should be affecting my period at all but I'm a little over 2 weeks late. My husband has had a vasectomy almost 2 years ago so I'm not to concerned about being pregnant but just really curious/worried about being so late. I've never been this late without being pregnant...I did take a test a few days ago which was negative.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of exercise messing with your cycles..

Exercise can cause strange things to happen to your cycle. Some who exercise a lot may not have a cycle at all, some will have lighter cycles, etc.

I exercise, but my cycles are still regular. They may be little lighter...
