Cramps, Brown discharge mid-cycle
I am 17 and wondering what it could mean to have slight cramps anda small amount of brown spotting. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex about 8 or 9 days ago, but I use the bc ortho-tricyclen, and have been on it since june. I am not due for my period until next sunday, Feb. 4, and i usually dont get it unitl that following wednesday anyway...does anyone know why this could be happening, I am really hoping its not pregancy, please help me.

You are just having an irregular period. It's probably nothing to worry about. Your period will not always do the same thing every month of your life. Sometimes it will be late, early, won't show up at all, or will change it's symptoms. The cramping and brown discharge (blood) is all normal. Things such as stress, illness, and normal hormone fluctuations will cause your periods to be irregular from time to time.
