OK, I've have experianced for as long as I can remember slight dicomfort with bowel movements while I'm on my period, but it's been getting gradually worse lately. It's bad gas pain's in my lower abdomen and whenever I attempt to 'go' it's is very uncomfortable. My cramps increase like 5X when I try to push and it's almost to the point where I just don't want to try. it's really uncomfortable. Anybody experiance anything like this? Is this common?

Cramping can occur in your lower back and abdomin and can definately make it uncomfortable to go. It can even make you feel like you need to go when you really don't.
It could also be that you are getting constipated while on your period. If that is the case, try taking a stool softener during your period and cut back on the fiber in your diet during that time. |
