Which pill are you on?
Ok, so this may be a bit of the same old same old but could do with some advice!
Background:
I am on the pill, and have been for 9 years. I have been with my partner for 4 years and we are sexually active, with the pill being the only form of contraception.
Last Month:
I did not have a period, only a light brown coloured discharge (not even heavy enough for panty liner). I had no period cramps also. The day after my period was due (late) I did a pregnancy test which was negative. A week later I had still not had me period so I carried out another test, also negative.I continued on taking my pill as normal.
This month:
My period was due on Saturday/Sunday and I still do not have it. On sunday I had a slight discharge, again only slightly visible after wiping once, and now nothing.
I do NOT think that I am pregnant as i feel like i do have my period (minus the cramps and bleeding!!!), however I am at a loss as to what I might be experiencing. I have been on this paticular prescription of pill for approx 3.5 years.
Can anyone help?

There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
I recently started discovering that my flow is very light. I asked the doctor this and she said it's common with birth control over time. The idea of it is that you have less and less periods. If you've been taking BC for over 5 years like me that's what will happen.
However, if you have any inclination it could be something you should definitely see a doctor.
Hi, I am on Loestrin 30.
We can only guess what's going on, so if you have the opportunity, I second the suggestion of seeing a doc.
Your body will be us should be getting your period, there is nothing about the pill that I know of that would account for having regular periods prior (if that is the case) then no periods at all. However not all periods are going to be the same and you can have light one like already mentioned almost to the point of them hardly being considered a period. By the way the brown stuff is your uterine lining without the blood, seeing that means your body is still wanting to rid of the lining just as it should at that time of the month. See a doctor if by next month there is nothing again.
