I'm on the Ortho Evra patch.
This is my week off, took it off Saturday and I started my period on Monday.

Yesterday my flow was pretty heavy, more than usual. Last night I had some painful cramps. This morning I started having some blood clots, they weren't very big. But I usually don't have that many, if any at all.
Now I've been having these wierd, uncomfortable, shooting pains up my vagina (not cramps, like actually feeling this in my vagina). The pain happens about every 7 - 30 seconds. My flow is very light now. But I keep having these pains.

Every period will differ even if it is not that noticeable in previous months. The clots are normal, but if the pain becomes debilitating it would be a good idea to go see the doc. Just take some acetaminophen in the meantime.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
