Exclamation Worried, please help.

So, this is kind of graphic in a way I guess, but I'm 19yrs old and not a virgin. I have never bled during sex, or had the pain of a broken hymen. Though, today I started my period and everything was fine. Well, when I pulled out my tampon, there was what looked like skin or something hanging from it? I know it's not a miscarriage or anything seeing as the last time I had sex or done anything active other than by myself was early February, with a condom AND birth control. I was looking stuff up and thought maybe it was my hymen finally coming out? I'm scared to talk to my mom or anyone about, and don't have a actual gynecologist seeing as I got my birth control from my University's health center. Please no sarcastic remarks this is a serious question.

It could have just been some clotted blood It's not something I'd worry about but obviously if you are worrying about it, go to a family planning clinic. Their usually more friendly and laid back then your doctor, if they think somethings up or it's irregular then they'd tell you to see your GP. Another option is to talk to us lot

Yeah, I think it's probably just congealed blood from your period...I wouldn't be too worried.
It didn't hurt, did it? If not, it's probably normal.

It didn't hurt, I didn't really notice it until I looked down and was like that doesn't look right. But, my main concern is that today is only my second day of my period, but I mean like I said I'm not active really, and so I thought it was finally my hymen out or something.

Well, before your period your uterus obviously lines with blood and tissue to cushion a fertilized egg and when it doesn't get one, it gets rid of it. I think I've heard that sometimes a little of that tissue can come out. It's a very good chance it was a clot of blood, though.
