I'm a wreck....what's going on?
I'm 26 with one 5 year old. I had a Mirena IUD after I had him in 2004. I had it removed Jan 09. Not for any bad reason, but b/c the 5 yrs was up and we wanted to start trying for baby #2. My periods came like clockwork until September, then none. No period until October 26th.....and it didn't stop! It's Nov 20th! Heavy bleeding with clotting and all. Unfortunately, my insurance won't cover any diagnostic tests until Jan 2010 b/c of a pre-existing clause. So, I call my doc and she called in Progesterone to help until January. Any input on this? Anyone been on progesterone therapy before? Or anyone had this happen before?
