    HI Guys...

New to this site, and really enjoying reading alot of the questions that I have always wanted to ask but never knew how.

Either way, I have a question. I have been on BC for about 5 years. I went on it very late around 26..I am now 31. I went on it b/c I use to have very bad cramps and heavy periods.

Now that I am stopping I am afraid if all that will come back. AT the same time I am lookinig to get pregnant and I really don't know what i shoudl be expecting?

can anyone tell me how they felt after getting off the pill? Side effects, moodiness. How long does it take to get prgenant? Any advice would be GREEAAT!

Well, it may take several months for your hormones to balance back out to normal. Some women don't see much change for a long time and some experience immediate and strong changes. You could have anything from strong mood swings to really bad cramping, but you might not have any problems at all. Your natural hormonal balance may have changed during all that time so you might not have as bad symptoms as before. Or, they could be worse. There is no way of knowing for sure because everyone is different.

Also, you might get pregnant right away or it could take over a year. Again, it depends on your body and it's reaction to the birth control or lack of.
