I had a tubal about 11 months ago
This month period has been REALLY STRANGE
i started last friday spotting a bit, I figured I would be starting full fledge by monday atleast. It was really nasty DARK brown blood and on monday I passed a CLOT!! Up until wensday it was dark brown andnow almost 10 days later i am still spotting. It is very light like a panty liner a day (if I didnt change) Is eptopic pregnancy something I should be worried about? If so can a home preg test give you any results?

no medical insurance so just trying to get an idea of what I am looking at!

You really are not having anything that out of the ordinary to be honest. It is normal for women to pass the large clumps of uterine lining tissue (they are not blood clots, but clumps of tissue). The thicker your uterine lining is each month, the more clumps you will see. It is regulated by your hormones and is very natural. Some women will get a LOT of them.

Also, a 10 day cycle is not all that uncommon. Again, your hormones are usually the reason for this. Since it is light spotting, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Stress can cause these things to happen too.

Unfortunately, taking birth control is not always a gaurantee that your period will stay on track. It's different for everyone. Let you gyn know how things are going and maybe they can come up with a better solution. It's just a matter of trial and error when it comes to finding the right birth control.
