Thread: Curious Period

Hi everyone! I have a question and any opion would be appreciated!!!

I got married in March and stopped taking birth control about 2 weeks before my wedding... I have not had a period since. After SEVERAL negative pregnancy tests, I finally gave in and went to the MD (that was in July)and she gave me some meds to help "restart" my cycle. I had a very light period in August due to the meds and then...nothing. My husband and I have been having unprotected sex for the past 9 months b/c we want to start a family (although we both know that is not really possible when you don't ovulate). When I woke up last Tuesday...what do ya know! My period was back. Not that I'm complaining but...the "bleeding" lasted about 6 days but was very,very light and was brown in color. Is this normal? I am worried b/c when I went to the MD in July, I was told that when (and if) my period returned, it would be really bad b/c I had not had one in so long.... Please help!
