Yes, indeed. The hormonal changes during menstruation can contribute to arousal. Of course not all women experience it (especially if you're going through intense pain!).
I was talking to friends about arousal and my guy friends all agreed that when their girlfriend is on their period they seem more frisky than at other times of the of the month. I am on continuous birth control due to my endometriosis, and can't remember a time that I wasn't in too much pain during my period to actually feel anything else so I can't use experience on this one. Does anyone know if the two are linked?

yup... horny as heck as long as I'm not crampy... Of course I feel so gross last thing I want is DH to touch me. Such a conundrum.

Right before my period and during my period I am insanely "FRISKY". Could be hormones, could be the increased circulation to the area, I have no idea but its always been the case for me to extra excited during that time of the month.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
yeah, combo of horneyness, pain and feeling fat and ugly. My breasts too tender to touch at times.
That said, If I can get warmed up and going, I crave sex! If I can get there, orgasms make the cramping go away.... sometimes.
