    Unhappy Sickness affects cycle?

So I was sick for a week before my period. I wasn't sleeping properly, or eating properly. I was also taking some medicine for it.

I heard all these can affect your cycle? Because I had a light cycle which I haven't had before. It lasted about 3 days and wasn't constant either. It was a lot lighter than usual.

Could a period like that be cause by what I said before (sickness, medicine etc.) ? I had sore breasts the week before which is a usual symptom for me, and I don't have them anymore so I don't think I'm pregnant? Or does it sound like a possibly pregnancy to anyone?

    Any ideas .

    I've been waiting 2 weeks

I suspect if your not eating or sleeping properly, your body acknowledges "stress" and certainly will make things different in that department.

I am sure you will work your "horrid" magic next month

Yeah, periods are influenced by all sorts of things. Mine used to be regular as clockwork, now they are much less so. Seems whenever I have a light one, I pay for it next time 'round.

Don't know how old you are, but I kind of got used to the variations over time. I'm in my mid-30's, so changes in my periods, or even a missed one here and there don't get me too excited. Relax.

    Thanks for your responses .
In general I don't really eat or sleep properly , it was just worse cause I was sick.

The only reason I'm worrying is because I'm 18, I've had my period for about 5ish years now and haven't expierenced a one like that before.

You guys put my mind at ease tho .
