Hi,
I'm 25 years old and I've never had a regular cycle, at least not for 'long' so being irregular is normal to me. It will range between 33-41 days the last year, before that it was between 30-75 days, so I was quite happy it had gotten into a more 'regular' zone.
I have HORRIBLE PMS with each cycle. However, the last 3 cycles that has seemed to become much more mild- still there just not nearly as horrible. No breast pain this time around, no cravings, though did still have the horrible mood swings.
Anyway my last 3 cycles went 36, 33 and now 24.
The having a cycle that is 24 days is really off for me, and I can't imagine its due to stress because I'm not really stressed.
The absence of severe PMS is also weird for me.
My periods are normally 3-4 days with a day of heavy bleeding and cramping in the middle (enough to keep me in bed for the day). I normally would bleed through a tampon every hour for that day.
This cycle I've barely had to use a tampon and I'm on day 5 already.
So everything seems to be changing and is off. I also had spotting a week before my period on the 36 day cycle which I have NEVER had before.
I haven't had a physical in about 4 years because I am terrified of them. I do work but don't have health insurance so I've been trying to find a clinic but I hate just having a stranger give me the exam. The last was done by my family doctor so I was more comfortable (this was in another city when I had insurance still).
I don't know what to do about getting myself an exam where I will feel calm enough to not have a panic attack.
I could really use some advice PLEASE.
Also, I did think I had a chemical pregnancy on cycle length 36, because the PMS was so different and with the spotting a week before I was due on my period, and the very heavy clots during that period- so not sure if that was or not (never confirmed with a test) then could that possibly have thrown my body off track?
Thanks!
