I posted this in the "pregnancy" thread as well, but I may have posted it in the wrong one so I'll post it here, too. Man I'm such a newb. Lol.

    Alrighty--

I started taking birth control with my first serious bf of 3 years when I became sexually active at 17 & have been ever since. I take it as a birth control method not to regulate me or anything like that. I recently switched and started taking Levora & so far so good. Like I said before, I'm always really regular--to the point where I know the day every month and I always start on that day & my (lack of) symptoms are the same each month.

But I have not had a period yet and I'm worried. I'm three pills into my second pack of this 3-month pack. So, yes, I'm still adjusting. My big red flag came because of the fact that I am SO regular. I've never had a missed period due to a change of bc pills.

About a week before my period was due, I spotted lightly for about two days, but nothing since then....

I'm really worried that I may be pregnant. I took two pregnancy tests that came back negative although I've heard it's possible to not have produced enough hormones to be detected in the hpt. I'm not really nauseous, but my boobs hurt (and that never happens), I have no appetite, & I really just don't feel like my usual self. Basically, I'm freaking out. And who knows, maybe I'm just being paranoid & pessimistic. Don't get me wrong, I sooooooooo want children and to start a family but mine & my bf's lives are too hectic for that right now.

    Any clue guys?? :/

That is actually the same pill I took for years. It is the generic for Nordette. I wouldn't be too worried yet, as the years went by, I would not start until sometimes the 6th or 7th placebo pill.

Give it another month and see what happens. It can take a few months, as you know, for your body to adjust to the changes.

Regarding your boobs hurting, it may just be hormonal changes associated with the pill or just a random change in your body. I went for years with no PMS symptoms whatsoever. About 3 years ago, I started getting cramps and hurting boobs. Now, I know exactly when I'm ovulating and on my way to start my period by my symptoms. They make themselves very well known.
