Default really really bad pains :/

does anyone have any 'cure' for pains? I'm not sure if they are period pains or something else because I haven't had a period in three months, so I could be pregnant! Therefore, I don't want to take anything that may harm a baby that I may be carrying.

I think first it would really help to figure out exactly what the pains are.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? If not, then go ahead and do so - more than once, even. If you are pregnant and are having strange pains, you would then might want to consider seeing a doctor to make sure the baby's okay.

Do they feel like regular cramps or what?

I just read in another thread that you're 14??

At this age no one expects your periods to be regular anyway, so my first guess is that you're not pregnant but just irregular. But do describe the pain a bit more if you can...

And, invest in some protection! At this age there's not much you'd be able to do for a child... so best to avoid that situation for quite a while yet.

my periods were normal though thats the thing, they don't feel like normal period pains, just much worse. And yeah, I was on the pill but that gave me tons of side effects so I came off and was going to go on the implant, we were using condom's but we forgot :/ I'll be pretty screwed if I am pregnant aha, thanks for the advice

I see, well good for you for going to the doc tomorrow! While you're there, you might want to discuss other birth control options... I'm actually quite surprised that you were put on the pill at your age. :-/

Some non-hormonal methods (which won't mess with your body!) include the cervical cap, diaphragm, and the IUD. Out of these three, I think one of the first two would work very well for you, and maybe the IUD once your body finishes developing.

They put pretty much anyone on the pill, I know quite a few my age that are on it. Yeah, I think I will talk about birth control, don't want to be put in this position again.

Are you serious? Jeez! And do the people you know also suffer from some side effects?

Wow this is news to me.

my best friend got minor side effects, i'm not sure about everyone else, but at school you hear about pretty much everyone thats sexually active being on the pill. At the gp's, they measure your weight and blood pressure to see if you are healthy enough and then they give you a prescription and you go to the chemist and get a months worth of pills, you can get anything from the gp
