I have a question regarding my period and wonder if anyone has experienced this or has any ideas.

So, I'm 19 years old and have suffered from an irregular period since I was 12. I went on birth control for 6 months and everything was fine. At first I had my period for a really long time (about 3-4 weeks), but then it was average (4-6 days). However, my doctor recently took me off birth control because it was regular again. This was about 3 months ago.

The next month my period came and it was normal. However, now it's been 2 months and I've yet to get it. I have also experienced vaginal dryness. Not extreme, but a bit dryer than usual.

I'm worried as to what this may be...might it be related to the lack of estrogen?

I don't think I'm pregnant if that's what anyone is thinking. Although I have been active with my boyfriend we used protection (and I was on birth control for most it). Also he never came inside of me (even while wearing a condom).

Does anyone have any ideas or comments? I plan on seeing my doctor in a few weeks. (the earliest time I can be seen)
