Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything simliar.
I have a lot of background history on another post, so that may help you solve my mystery with me (and thanks to all that try to help!).
Since my miscarriage in November 2009 (and not being on the pill any more...since June 2009), my period has returned to a moderately normal state. I usually get it every 5 weeks, cramps about a week before along with sore boobs.
The last time I had my period was March 24th, and it was about as normal for me as it could be. I have not yet had another period (it's May 4th). I'm only about 5 days 'late', but have had a few things happen that prompted me to this site again.
Mid April, I had light spotting (99% only when I wiped) for about 4 days. The ONLY time I have ever spotted was when I was on the pill and slipped up, and when I was pregnant. I had almost 0 pain during the spotting (my doctor suspects endometriosis and all my periods are very painful, so I thought although being free from pain was wonderful, it was also strange).
I have also had extremely sore, tender and enlarged breasts for nearly two weeks now. Nothing strange, just another symptom.
Another weird thing that happened about two weeks ago came after my husband and I finished having sex. About 5 minutes after, there was an intense pressure on my abdomen, anus and vagina. I could barely walk, and sitting was out of the question. This horrific pain lasted about an hour, declining in pain as time went on. I have felt this before, but ONLY during my period and never to that extent.
Okay, one more weird thing. I have been having extremely light (on a scale of 1-10, .5) cramping pains come and go for the last week (again, nothing too crazy, but with everything added up, seems a bit odd). The weird part about it is that everytime I stand up, the pain goes to about a 5 for a few minutes, then goes away. I've never had that happen either.
Lately it's been hard to get comfortable temperature wise. I've been getting hot spells (not hot flashes), and out of no where I'm buring up and can't cool down to save my life. It's happened several times in the past few days, and this is something totally new. My sister said my face turned beat red when this happens.
Since my miscarriage, we've been using condoms, although we slipped up about 3 times.
I don't want to think about the possiblility of being pregnant, because if I'm not, I think it'll break my heart (if I take a test and it turns out negative).
Could this just be my body STILL adjusting? I've tried not to be too concerned with this, but it's very confusing. Maybe my body's just going through a change (but I'm still young, 24). I'm sure anyone that's had a miscarriage would be slightly nervous about the thought of being pregnant again....I know I am.
Thanks everyone for your help. It really is a great deal of comfort and support just to have people know what you're going through.
