Sounds like exactly what I when through for years and years. Could be endometrosis.
The only things that have worked for me were acupuncture and pegesrtrone cream. Both are worth a try in my opinion.
Hello!,
I'm 20 yrs old and I've been having uncomfortable period pains since I was 13.
I have mild discomfort and nausea during ovulation. But taking 1 OTC pill (tylenol or advil) gets rid of them.
Leading up to my period I have lower back pain and breast pain/tenderness that won't go away until days after my period starts (otc meds won't help).
During the first day of my period, pain (on a scale from 1-10) ranges anywhere from 5-7. I miss school or stay at home because I have diareaha , some nausea, fatigue, increased lower back pain, and burning/cramping pelvic pain. Pain is located in my lower left abdomen and under my navel, and my vagina and rectum feel sore. These are my average symptoms; I take 2 650mg Tylenol Arthritis and sometimes they just reduce the pain a little and I still feel sick. They also take what seems like forever to kick in, even with a heating pad.
Once in a while, I get these terrible cramps that I'm literally afraid of. Pain ranges from a 7 or 8. I have all of the above symptoms, but they seem twice as bad.I can't eat, I throw up, feel lightheaded, and sensiitive to temperature changes. I also have pain that radiates from my lower back to my left hip and down my left leg to my toes. Its as if my leg was placed in ice water; cold, numb, and throbbing pain. It takes at least 5 hours for all the pain symptoms to go away. OTC meds don't kick in right away and most times are useles
I always get pain the second day of my period (not as painful) and sometimes on the third day. And I'm back to normal.
Even with all the discomfort, I have regular periods (last 6 days). I don't suffer from heavy bleeding ( I did when I was in highschool but I read somewhere it was from the pain medication; I haven't had heavy bleeding in a year).
I suspected it was endometriosis, but I'm not sure anymore since I don't have irregular period or heavy bleeding. I also don't have pain urinating.
I am so confused and feel hopeless because I can't determine what could possibly be the problem. I already told a doctor and she blew everything I said off, and stated the leg pain was normal. I don't see how wanting your leg amputated because of the pain normalI'm seeing a new doctor soon, and its a possibility she'll ignore my symptoms or just hand me birth control pills(I don't really want birth control pills though) and tell me to suck it up.
No one seems to believe me, not even my family. Do I just have really bad cramps or maybe and underlying condition?

You won't always have irregular and/or heavy periods or pain urinating with endo, by the way.
