So, I realize I should see a doctor about this. I'm working on it (no insurance, but on waiting list, etc), but for my own mind I still need...opinions I guess.
So, I am almost 25 and have been married almost 2 years to the most wonderful guy. We started NT/NP (not trying/not preventing-no form of birth control) since our engagement in Sept. 2007. We married in 2008. My period was always irregular and I was told that was normal so I never thought much of it (especially when I was a teenager). This is what my periods have been like for the past few years: (# = period, 0 = nothing)
2007: January 0, February 0, March #, April 0, May #, June 0, July #, August 0, September #, October 0, November 0, December 0.
2008: January #, February 0, March 0, April #, May 0, June 0, July #, August 0, September #, October had a little spotting for maybe 2 days but no period, November spotting that lasted a few weeks...very very light pink, December spotting continued into December from November but only a little bit...no period.
2009: January 0, February 0, March 0, April 0, May 0, June 0, July 0, August 0, September 0, October 0, November 0, December 0.
2010: January 0, February 0, March 0, April 0, May 0 so far
Haven't had a period since Sept. 2008. I guess I'm getting more worried now because the insurance isn't coming through and we're talking about having a baby more and more.
I hope you don't mind my asking, but what's your body type/activity level?
I've heard that both ends of the weight spectrum have menstrual difficulties (both over and underweight) and people who are both very active and very sedentary can experience the same problems.
If you already knew this and have ruled it out, I apologize!
